Recently invited to join the host band at an invitational jam every Wednesday. Smallish room and tight quarters which made the Avenger a bit of overkill last week. This week I decided to take along the GA-6 which is also got great tone for guitar. Got the amp up on a chair and man what great tone. Really one of the sweetest I've had. With a Kinder AFB in front to get a bit more it was plenty loud enough on stage and I was told by the sound guy that it projected fine out into the room.

Although it was really good for harp, towards the end of the night with the volume I had to go for it was really too dirty for guitar, especially rhythm. That was a shame as it has great tone with a Telecaster at more reasonable volumes.

Big time fun. We played 3 hours straight without a break.

Well since you mentioned it, so do I. I'm lucky enough to play with some pretty cool stuff. The little BR-6f is mine. The redone GA-20 and the recovered GA-25 belong to my band mate. The combo of the BR and the GA-25 with 8,10 and 12 inch speakers is way cool sounding.

Yeah baby! I just jammed all weekend with my GA6. My collector buddy in LA - who has a ton of amps and guitars, plugged in and fell in love too.

It is too dirty for rythm chord playing at volume - true, but leads are deliciously nasty.

Glad you are digging your GA6 LSC - " I knew that you would"

Here's a couple of combos i play in parallel. I especially like the GA-25 and BR-6 together.
