I just signed up for the Gussow/Shellist on Sept. 7th. I'm pretty excited but a little nervous too. In his video, Adam says that he's going to tap me (all of us) on the shoulder, and say "play something for me". Any ideas of what to play so that I can not embarrass myself too much? Probably should have a bend or two, don't you think?

Play him the solo from 'stop tapping my shoulder!' ;) Nah, seriously, play anything that you are confident with. A well executed song show your skill better than a rough stumble through a more technical piece. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube

Ronnie does that at the seminars for Mile High Blues Society. Everybody plays something at the beginning of the session. It is not a big deal, don't worry. At seminars I have attended there was a whole range of players and talent levels. Everybody was supportive, especially Ronnie. He is a very fine teacher.
Relax, you will have a great time and learn a ton of new stuff. Record the session if you can.

If you play something perfect how is anyone going to help you? :-D Just relax and be the player that you are and heed the instruction. I think you will feel low sometimes (been to a bunch of workshops) but I think it is how you grow. Have fun and good luck
