I am picking one up today that is from the 50s. The tweed has water damage and I am wondering if it is possible to restore that or if I should just remove it and replace it. ---------- "Bend it like Ricci" - Me
I'd expect it would be easier to buy a perfect one than to fix it. Cheap on ebay. I have way way way many. I use them for everything, storage, my case and lots of old autographs.
This one is actually in fairly decent condition and it is the perfect size I have been looking for. Basically briefcase size at 21" long X 14" deep X 6-1/2" tall. It belonged to the guys mom. The only restoration I would really want to try is to clean the outside because it had water damage. I don't yet have it in my posession but should later today.I will be gutting it to replace with foam with slots for harps and such. Love the autographs on the one you have. I might have to borrow this idea :) ---------- "Bend it like Ricci" - Me
