@ Jlnx, I had listened to 5 or 6 of his tunes. I was just focused on useing my hands well and trying to come up with a strong line. Thanks for listening, I really don't get to practice much. But sometimes I feel like I just need to share something with the forum.

You're doing OK Duane. It's nice to put a face to a name from the forum. I don't know any of Burnsides stuff so it sounded OK to me. Yeah! practice time can be hard to find sometimes. I find I go off at tangents and just end up messing about. I only hope I'm learning something though even if it does just seem like having fun,

@ tookatooka, yeah me too! Cause I just got try to rip out something from inside sometimes. There are so many things to work on and learn, just focusing on them in small bits gets boring sometimes.

@Duane C. I know what you mean. When I first started I thought it would be fairly easy and would have been quite satisfied just to be able to chug reasonably well. Then I wanted to bend, then overblow, split octaves, blow bend, then tongue block. It goes on and on. I get a lot of satisfaction and enjoyment from the learning bit so a little bit every now and again is fine by me. It's not a race it's the fun of the journey for me but I find as I progress I want to get better which is not a bad thing. The only thing I know I won't conquer is the musical theory which is a shame but then I think of how much the old blues musicians may have known. Not much I expect so there's hope for me yet.

Nice to have chatted with you. Keep going.
