In this day and age it has become rather easy to find the stuff you want to listen to. And this, in turn, has somehow degraded the experience: the intense listening to the long awaited LP, brought home at considerable expense, the careful browsing of the cover etc, is gone. (It was also something of a youthful matter.)

Still, if there´s something that´s been released (Spotify, CD, Wimp whatever) and falls within the MBH frame it would be great to have a thread for it. (Maybe there is, but I can´t find it.)

Also, let´s assume that those who hang around here need NOT to be informed of the standard stuff. If you´re interested in blues harp and don´t know of Gwen Foster, Rhythm Willie, the Little, Big and Medium Walters, Paul Butterfield you got some lessons ahead.

Let me start by pointing to Roly Platt (yes, he´s been mentioned here) and Wayne Buttery: "Tangled roots". Can be found on Spotify. Good stuff.

But, as they say, I want more.

Lately I've been listening to Brandon Santini's album (?) This Time Another Year, especially the song What You Doing to Me. Good stuff. Heard it on Sirius XM radio when I was on a long driving trip.

@ Perfect! Thank you -- two CD´s on Spotify and they sound very promising. Just the kind of thing I was hoping for (had never heard of him before).
