For watching or playing?

There's two good jams one on a monday night at "Ain't nothing but" blues bar – http://www.aintnothinbut.co.uk. The other is Sams Jam at Ally Cats on Wednesdays – http://www.alleycatbar.co.uk/events/blues-jam-with-sam-hare-44 – Both you can just turn up and put your name down.

There's also a Jam at Around Midnight on a Tuesday, I've not been to this for years so not sure what it's like - http://www.roundmidnightbar.com.

Also check these guys out there:

Monday – http://www.roundmidnightbar.com/bands/roots – I think Mark Harrison usually plays here on a Monday, often with Will Greener (who posts here sometimes as Captain Bliss – http://www.markharrisonrootsmusic.com)

Thursday – http://www.roundmidnightbar.com/bands/rollo

It's also worth having a look at what's going on at the Blues Kitchen. Not always strictly blues but blues based, rock and roll etc. – http://www.theblueskitchen.com

Thanks Baker - I checked out the Aint Nothin But jam night and had a great time. A good mix of harp players - including a young bloke called James getting up for not-quite the first time, who did a splendid job.
Cheers
Jeremy
