Folks, I've recently signed up to present a radio programme here on the local community station. It's ostensibly a folk music programme, but as my co-presenter says, that's a very broad church. I want to use the opportunity to showcase as much work of living, current performers as I can. The show is largely a vehicle for the state folk federation, and we want to promote local musicians and events, but also introduce interesting aspects of the homemade music scene from around the world. Of course, I have a particular interest in harmonica and the blues, so this is just a shout out to anyone who has recordings of work they think might suit...live, homemade, commercial...I don't mind...I'll appreciate and consider anything you may like to offer. I hope I hear from you; my email is in my details on the site, just click on my name.
