Some incredible blues playing by [arguably] the best white boy to ever do it traditionally. So much expression!

Hey Jay,
I put this up on YouTube a couple of years ago and posted it here as I didn't know who the harp player was. It ended up being a very interesting thread.
Enjoy:

I saw this band setup in april 1970, they were IT. Paul Oscher played his A$$ off.I think he learned a lot off of James Cotton... ! Also Steve Guyger did some study in the 70`s with Oscher his alias was [PO]Brooklyn Slim .

Paul, who is also a good friend of mine, was the very first white musician Muddy Waters ever hired to be a regular member of his band. He definitely did gig under the nae of Brooklyn slim and not only is he a great harp player, but also a heck of a guitar player and a damned good blues pianist and after he left Muddy, whenever Pinetop Perkins couldn't make some gigs, he often was hired to fill in for him. ---------- Sincerely, Barbeque Bob Maglinte Boston, MA http://www.barbequebob.com CD available at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bbmaglinte

Paul Oscher is a monster blues musician. He can sing, play harp, play guitar, play piano and he does them all equally well.
