Danny G's party was nice. This year we had great weather, good food and good people. The only thing that would have made it better would be more diatonic players. I urge you to save some time next year to come and enjoy the party. It's always the first weekend AFTER the 4th July. Next year, it starts July 11th.

I met Wally Peterman, a remarkable harmonica technician. Before leaving Sunday afternoon, Dave Payne, Wally, and I did "Black Magic Woman". Wally played the 48 chord harmonica. I like this combo we did. It's not the classic single harp in a blues tune, and it's not the typical 3 piece harmonica group. Wally's chords are excellent and a tasteful enhancement to the tune. It's also one of those time we actually get to hear Dave Payne play a harp and not just talk about harps.

Enjoyed jamming with Wally here in Indy a couple of years ago. It was a hoot!
