I've been checking out Archive.org again lately.
There really are some plain incredible archives there.
Check it out if you haven't already

I am another Hammie fan. The simplicity of the line and the feeling are what drew me to harp. Players like Hammie, Frank Frost and Jerry McCaine just do it to it.

I grew up in brownsville tn.....saw Hammie and John play on the town square several times. During the 70's.....most people including me didn't really know at he time their impact and popularity......in 1996 I got a call from John Sebastian .... He had been playing with yank Rachel and wanted to bring him back to Brownsville .....a few months later we booked a venue .....my self , yank , John , Paul rischell, and little Annie Raines....we packed the house....it was a great time......we also took to Beale for two days and hooked up with Maria muldar......to do a jug band tribute to all the greats........yank passed away a few years later in 1998......
