Not familiar with Frost. In this video he sounds like he is a better singer than harmonica player.

Frank is a legendary bluesman. Not a household name but most people into the old blues harp players know who he is.

He's an old man in this video so I would expect his skill to suffer a little.

Appeared in the movie Crossroads with Ralph Machio.
The Delta Frost was named after him for a reason.

Frank Frost made some great recordings. Frank recorded quite a lot on the Jewel label, he also made some recordings with Sun Records if my memory serves me correctly.

Thanks for the post Bob, heard the name Frank Frost, first time I've heard him play.

I dig Frank Frost and really like his tone and simplicity. One of my favorite tracks

Frank Frost is an OK harp player but his best stuff features Arthur Williams playing harp. Recorded for Jewel/Paula it has been released under a few different titles and is well worth checking out.

I think Juke Logan actually played harp on the "Crossroads" sound track.

Yes John "Juke" Logan played on the Crossroads soundtrack. Along with Sonny Terry and Frank Frost.

The credits list Frank Frost as co-writer on a couple of tunes, I don't see where he actually played harp. It does list Sonny Terry playing on a tune.

Cotton Needs Pickin' and Willie Brown Blues both feature Frank Frost on harp. Willie Brown Blues also has Juke Logan on harp
