Just wondering: is Jim McBride a member here?
I ordered a mic Wed and didn't get a confirmation email yet or any contact that indicated that he was aware of my order. I know it was a holiday and all but usually people send the "got your order and I'm on it" email to make you feel better about it.

Depending on how his ordering software is set up he may or may not have an automatic confirmation feature. It looks like all his orders are processed through PayPal so I'm guessing there is no auto confirmation other than what you should receive from PayPal showing that the money was deducted from your account and paid to Jim. With a small business like Jim's he would probably have to manuallly send you a confirmation so with the holiday and all he might not have gotten around to it yet. If you received a PayPal confirmation then I wouldn't worry about it. He'll probably send you an email on the day its shipped along with a tracking number. Or you can always just pick up the phone and call him at 770-789-7869.

Oh...thanks for the phone number. Yes, I got an automated pay pal email, I just expected one from him too, that's all.

I can tell you that I get so busy I cannot acknowledge every order either - I just ship so fast I assume it will get there before the customer starts to worry. If I am NOT going to be able to fill the order very quickly then I will notify the customer. ---------- *************************************************** /Greg

Jim is a great guy, regular attender of a bluesfest I used to go to. No problems there.

Yes, I'm a member here. I just don't post very often.
I took care of Robert. I was traveling and was not "connected for a few days". Thanks Rick and Jawbone for easing his worries while I was gone.
I don't use an automated response system. Bottle 'O Blues is probably big enough to use one now, but I prefer more direct contact with my customers. If you call or email me I'll always respond personally. I may be busy and take a few days, but eventually I'll get there!
