Well, I got an online recorder and decide to record myself over a backing track.
I completely went blank for what to play so I just tried to be "safe".
I had a problem too...there was a huge amount of latency in my track...it was way behind the backing track on playback so I had to trim and nudge it...bummer.
But anyway...this is me on A harp over an E track.
Normally I'd be obsessive and take 100 takes to get something that was what i'd consider "not bad" but I'm just going to leave it at this...take 3...warts and all.
here is the link...comments welcome.

You download a back track, play to it, if your able, upload, get votes, etc, so easy.

That is not bad at all.
You need to work on your single notes a litle longer, alway work on tone, and learn a few riffs and a few songs, then play again whit the same BT and make a recording.
I recomend 100% the pay lessons of Adam Gussow, in all of them you will find great riffs and info.

thanks rogonzab...I'll certainly do that and check back.
BTW, I have a few of Adam's pay lessons and really like them...he's a natural teacher.
Am I the only one that find myself grinning at the computer screen when taking his lessons?

Not bad for a first attempt! You have nice sense of timing and rhythm, espescially. Good use of chords. Bends and tone needs further work, of course, anything else would be strange indeed. Keep recording!
I go back and check through my old youtubes to see progress whenever it feels like a hit a wall. ---------- Pistolkatt - Pistolkatts youtube
