Everyone one here knows Little Walter, Muddy etc.. but there are some lessor known guys around with Walter big and little playing on records behind other great singers. John Brim being my favorite. Floyd Jones etc.. Some John Brim has Little Walter, Big Walter and Jimmy Reed playing electric harp on tracks. He also wrote some cool ass songs. Here is a link to one of them.

Love John Brim. Used to have a record with JB on one side and Elmore James on the other...whose (sic) muddy shoes...
Ice cream man, rattlesnake...I read somewhere the rattlesnake song was withdrawn because it was too obviously hound dog. Great stuff...I didn't realise it was LW on those cuts for a long long time, probably took 25 years before I found out...
