1. Does anyone know of an app similar to AmpKit but for Androids that would let me turn my phone into a harmonica amp?

2. Is there computer software for Mac that would allow me to do the same with my laptop, just by hooking a mic up to it?

There is one called Peavy Amp Kit. Not sure how good it is since I have an iPad and use Garage band through it. As for your Mac, Garage Band for Mac or Pro Tools.

Apple's Logic recording software for the Mac includes some quite good amp simulation plugins. I believe Garageband has some too.

My understanding is that android' core music handeling is not as good as apples iOS platform. - but I don't have one myself to compare.

iOS music apps do rock though, - I can tell you that.
