Just in case there are people here who haven“t heard Peter Green when he was young and great: The solo that starts around 2:40 is pretty much as good as it gets when it comes to blues guitar.

"Jumping at Shadows" was written by Peter green's friend, Duster Bennett, who was very good rack harp player.

Here are a couple of his performances of his great song:

He also played a bit of harp too. Young Peter Green was a very talented man. It's such a shame that mental illness devastated his life. Thankfully in the last few years Peter has managed to pick up his life somewhat and is playing the music he loves so dearly once again. Albeit as a mere shadow of his former self.

News from my Singapore "source"...

Peter Green is sometimes revered as the real soul of Fleetwood Mac, sorry Mick. Finally, something decent is to be reissued with him in mind. On August 20, Reprise Records will revisit that early period of Fleetwood Mac's history, when Green was guitarist, with two releases: a deluxe, expanded single CD remaster of the 1969 Reprise debut Then Play On (with a single previously unissued track), and a four-LP vinyl box set Fleetwood Mac: 1969-1972 containing their first four Reprise LPs Then Play On, Kiln House, Future Games and Bare Trees. The vinyl box will include the single Oh Well Pt 1 and Pt 2. The LPs are all pressed on 140-gm vinyl. Each album is housed in a replica of its original packaging, including the lavish gatefolds for Then Play On and Kiln House. Mastering was done by Chris Bellman of Bernie Grundman Mastering.

Peter Green was a wonderful player.
His more recent albums of Robert Johnson covers show he has regained some of his former ability
