A young band called The Strypes played at Glastonbury last night. They are 16 and 17yrs old. They played an accoustic set and you can check them out on youtube. They have a guy on harp with awesome tone for one so young.
They are going to be huge.

While these guys are not super stars, they are all ready pretty big in the U.K. They do pretty well on iTunes

I'm digging the high energy electric stuff. Derivative? Yeah, (remember some snot nosed young punks from Detroit called the White Stripes? This vid in particular looks like a Vintage Trouble show, Yardbirds, Stones, Who...etc.) but at least they are mining a cool vein. Hope they stay with it, don't get sucked up by the Money Machine Music Industry. Maybe they will grow and mature musically and hopefully influence a new generation.
