Thanks to a tip from Iceman, the Blues Doctors will be playing a free show at the Riverside Arts Market in Jacksonville on Saturday, July 6th.

http://riversideartsmarket.com/upcoming-events/

We're not listed, but we'll be there. We're playing from 6 to 9 PM. With full PA and tube amps, I might add.

We'll be putting more than 1700 miles on the odometer between July 4th and July 7th. Shows in Gulfport, MS on July 4th and Gulfport, FL on July 5th. (The latter show is also a Satan & Adam show.)

I hope to see some of y'all at one of these gigs. The Blues Doctors thing is starting to come together in a great way.

I was a little surprised, but definitely pleased that my recommendation still carries so much weight.

The Entertainment Director came up to my booth yesterday at Riverside Arts Market beside herself with having the Blues Doctors perform at next week's festival. As you can see by the web site, they were already finished w/booking talent before I suggested Adam's band, so an additional band w/all the preparations was actually more work on their end than was needed.

There are a lot of small music sites around this Market as well as a big main stage. The talent has, so far, been that "local" level, with the main stage usually too loud.

The Entertainment Director told me that she was setting up a one time only staging area at the far end away from the Main Stage so that there would be no sound bleed in order to feature the Blues Doctors properly.

She is also moving my booth right behind or near this new venue.

Word spread amongst the vendors as well. One of them told me he is borrowing a high end HD Video Recorder as long as the Blues Doctors will give permission to be recorded.

It will also give Adam a chance to see what I've been up to these last few years in regards to creating Gourmet Foods.

Looking forward to the event.
