maybe someone from northern calif. can clue me in
not sure who this is?
i do not normally care too much for a green bullet mic.
but there are on occasions exceptions.
this is one of them, fantastic tone ...phrasing
delightful! it has been on you tube for a couple of years apparently, only has a few hits pretty cool in my book.

Great band, TIGHT. I don't know them but I know and have played with the guitar player, Laura Chavez - whose main gig these days is with the fabulous Candeye Kane. Nice tasty harp playing.
@1847 - that's how a good bullet SHOULD sound.

good stuff. He really punctuates lots of his notes with a hard attack. I suspect he also listens to Carlos del Junco.

Agreed: that's tasty, beautiful playing. Love that long note. I've added him to the honorable mention list on this website on the basis of this one performance. I wasn't surprised, googling him, to discover that he was named "harmonica player of the year" at a recent International Blues Challenge.

As soon as I found out who they were I spent the next hour listening to them on Youtube. Adam, I love the long note, too. Didn't expect it, actually. But it fit nicely.

I like it. His playing and tone remind me of Gary Smith, "Blues for Mr. B" on the "Blue Bay" vinyl album from 1976.
