The Blues Doctors have a couple of gigs lined up in early July: July 4th in Gulfport, MS and July 5th in Gulfport, FL. We'll be heading north and home to Oxford, MS on July 6th, and as yet we've got no gig on that date. So we're looking around. We'll be carrying a PA with us and we could certainly throw some battery powered amps into the car along with our band stuff.
So we're available to play a club, a private party, or the streets.
Any suggestions? Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Macon, ATL? It would be kind of fun to just show up somewhere and busk, but that's always a risky proposition. Does any forum member in the geographical area in question have a good busking spot they'd be willing to share? Thirty minutes on, thirty minutes off? That's a great way for two acts to busk.
We're footloose, fancy free, and willing to have fun, as long as it doesn't involve getting our equipment confiscated by cops or stolen by Bad People.
