Last night our band played at a pub in town. Everything had gone well at rehearsal and I had chosen to play a low 'D' in 3rd for one of the new numbers.
Well, when I went to play in the louder environment, I could only get about half the notes I wanted as the reeds don't like high flow and won't operate at all.
There I was totally stuck and not enough time to change harps. Oh well, we all live and still learn.
The rest of the gig went over really well. Oh, did I mention the two gorgeous young women who came up to me gyrating suggestively whilst I was playing?
