Spotify is a music program that allows you to create playlists of almost every song imaginable, and with the paid version you can share playlists with other people. I just got it, and I'm learning, but I know that others here have more experience than me. (I don't know how to share playlists yet.)
I was thinking of starting threads with the word Spotify to get suggestions on what songs to put in these playlists. For instance, here are some ideas for playlists I have:
Spotify: A Harp songs to play along with Spotify: C Harp songs etc. Spotify: Beginner songs Spotify: 1st position songs Spotify: Pre War Blues Spotify: Post War Blues Spotify: Modern Blues
Can anyone help me learn Spotify and share playlists? Do you guys think this is a good idea?

Oddly enough I am a Spotify ambassador for my college at the ripe ol age of 40 because I absolutely love Spotify. So, they chose me to spread the Spotify Gospel, lol. Message me at my screen name @aol.com OR Reed Triller on Facebook which might be easier if you have an account there. ---------- Bend it like Ricci - Me

I love these programs! The only problem I have is when I type in "Jimmy McGriff," I soon just don't care about any other search terms.
Chicago Blues could be added.

Very good idea! I also love spotify, have been using it for more than two years now. I carry it with me in my mobile phone so I can listen my playlists in a car etc.
I would especially like to have playlists for harp keys as I only carry one harp with me most of the time.

Philosofy: Instructions for creating these playlists are pretty easy. 1) Create a playlist and give it a descriptive name (e.g. Harp Blues in G) 2) Right-click the name of the playlist and select "copy HTTP link" 3) Then you just describe these lists here at MBH and share it
Like here is the HTTP link for Felip's playlist: Harmonica instrumentals - http://open.spotify.com/user/fnadal/playlist/3d80iuaTzMcCapKiBzKdh2
You can also edit it to show just the name of the link Felip's Harmonica instrumentals ---------- Hoodoo Sauna

Spotify is revolutionising the way I listen to music. I used to buy loads of music on iTunes. Now I use Spotify for a tenner per month. I choose which playlists to make available offline. It's introduced me to so many artists and bands that I may not have bothered with if I had to buy a CD or download. I'd be keen to share harp playlists. It sounds easy to set up.
