A buddy turned me on to this guy. I did a forum search and didn't find anything so I figured I'd share. It's not bluesy but you still may like it, reference lyrics...

The singing above strikes me as terribly derivative, leaning heavily for its effects on our hunger for an earlier era. I'd rather listen to old vinyl, not a new guy making stuff that sounds like old vinyl.

On the other hand: I really like his new single, WhooHoo. He's trying for a contemporary mix--and his angle of attack isn't quite like anybody else's. He's mixing old and new in the opening riff, in fact, and that's what I enjoy:

We do his song Come And Get It. Mainly because it was all over the radio in the UK in 2011.

Its completely derivative as Adam says and no one in the band or the audience likes it or even knows it. We keep it in to placate our drummer.
