Last night Steve (guitar) and I were running our weekly Tuesday Jam. A quiet but enjoyable session, anyway we were putting our gear away when a gang of people arrived who were 'wrong'. The atmosphere went cold and it got scary.

They did not stay long, but went to the toilet in pairs,
whatever they were dealing it was not marijuana.

They left and started throwing glasses in the road outside the pub.

The owner of the pub supports live music and has done a great job in improving the place. This country (uk) is going to the dogs and it ain't getting any better

Couldn't agree more harmonicanick. Unfortunately I don't think things will change until the police, judicial system, judges and politicians grow some bollocks.

I'm so sorry you had to experience that feeling Nick. I've spent all my life living surrounded by those kinds of people and have lived that experience more times than I've had hot dinners. I have seen the situation worsen a lot over time. I know of at least six drug dealers just on my street and every next door neighbour I've had for the last 30 odd years has been either a drug dealer or user. The police seem completely disinterested in dealing with the problem. Luckily my current neighbour is only a light user and apart from his drug use is a very nice guy. The UK society has really gone to the dogs in the last decade. The "thug" mentality seems to have become the accepted way for more and more people. Manners seem to getting left behind.
