Yes, I have been frustrated to this extent but never with regard to music. It had happened back in the day when I would do mechanic-type work, repair, installations, mods, on my motorcycle(s) to avoid the high charges of the dealers. I just adopted a policy of never being angry at inanimate objects. It was counterintuitive at first, but it has served me well...goddammit.
