I was listeneing to my iPod and reading a book during a break at a recent photo shoot. Starting playing some great instrumental uke stuff from James Hill. Scrolled through the menu later and came on Jason Riccis' Blues Penitentary. Yikes! What a great tune and what a terrific recording! I have all of Jasons' CD's, even bought several copies of his stuff to give away, so I guess I'm a big fan. I'd forgotten about this tune, blew me away. Sorry I missed the Indy workshop, (I live in Indy) we were on vacation that weekend.

rbeetsme, you ever run into Jim Ott, Tony Cheeseborough or Lightning around town? I played with those guys 20+ years ago and have often wondered if they're still in the Hoosier state playin blues. I don't remember Lightning's real name because that is all anyone ever called him. I've been gone a long time but Indy is a nice city.

@ Lip Ripper: Tony is definitely still on the scene. Not sure about Lightning. Haven't seen him for a long time.
