Here's a blues band at a festival. Not expecting an overblow, but we get one at the 43-second mark. Go, baby!

Steve Folger, was that? Bolger? Where's he from? Steve, are you a member of the forum?

Voted best blues band in San Diego at some point recently.

Hi Adam, it's Steve Bulger. His band is "145th Street Band" out of San Diego and he goes by Stevie B on stage. I use to travel southern California, and when I would be in San Diego, I'd hear his band at Patricks II, a great blues bar in the Gas Lamp district. He is a very accomplished player. I thought his playing was so cool that he actually inspired me to pick up the harmonica as a way to pass the time when I was traveling. Of course, now I'm hooked. Anyway, he's a cool guy and a killer performer! The video that you posted was from this year's La Mesa Spring Harpfest.

That's a good act. Those guys have the crowd happy. And the overblow didn't sound like many; it was solid right up to the release of the bend.
Sounds to me like they deserve the award for sure. San Diego is lucky to have those guys in town.

San Diego has a lot of great blues ensembles but the money is not very good.
There are places to play but some of them don't pay at all!
