really irritating...my Sp20 in C just got the 3rd draw reed stuck. I opened it up to gap the 9 draw and after it was put back together, the 3rd stuck. Running through water didn't help. My prime harp is in a lesser condition!

You may have just knocked the 3 reed off centre when putting the covers back on. You're going to have to dismantle it again to check. ----------

Yeah that's what i thought too, dang it. oh actually, to be more precise, the draw only sticks when I do the draw bends, especially the full ones.

I had the same thing happen to an A sp20 after about 2 months of use and sent it back to hohner and they replaced it. it took about 2-3 months to get it back from them.

If the reed is sticking with light breath the reed may be gapped too close. You may have closed the gap up while working on your 9 blow reed. Your just gonna have to open the mug up to check it out.

Just out of curiosity, wouldn't somebody who has the skills to gap the 9 reed have the knowledge to diagnose a stuck 3? ---------- The Art Teacher Formally Known As scstrickland

You'd think so... Stickman, i've never had a stuck reed before believe it or not, but I've gapped many reeds. Just a different learning curve.
