Several years ago, when I bought my first vintage mic I was simultaneously introduced to screw on connectors. I was briefly perplexed to find I couldn't walk into a store and buy a lead for my mic. About the same time I discovered Greg Heumann's BlowsMeAway website, and never looked back. Greg's products, information and great customer service set the bar high. I've just purchased another in-line volume control from Greg, and again i find I'm impressed with not only the product (which is great!), but also the alacrity and clarity (always good to talk to) with which Greg responded to my email and posted my order. (I think the price has stayed pretty steady too).
A great contributor to the worldwide harmonica community. Thanks Greg.

I've had my in-line volume control for years now and still have jammers drooling over it. And it looks so cool with my little Akai stick mic, like it was made for it.

I second what SuperBee says. I have always found Gregg to be top of the line. A first rate person and builder.

I sent my $50 Astatic JT 30RH to Greg the other week for an element upgrade. He removed the factory VC, plugged the hole, ran a die over the chinese screw on connector (to make it more thread friendly), installed a white label CR & new gasket.

My mic sounds pretty awesome now... especially when I get my cupping technique just right, it sounds pretty fat & greasy... (which isn't the case most of the time)

I bought his vintage inline VC (which is very awesome)... I love his inline VC, so ergonomically harp friendly! Greg's turnaround time was lightnin' fast and he is very knowledgable and goes out of his way to help me make the best decisions for harp needs. I appreciate his time, talent, service and expertise. He is the best in my book!

Greg is to harp mics what Gary Onofrio is to harp amps. Both pioneers of perfection in their field coupled with top notch customer relations.
