12", 2x10", 2x6x9". Been wanting to try out this combination of speakers for a long time. Finally bought an unfinished cab custom diminsion three piece back, 26"x26"x11". I did the speaker cut outs with a jig saw with the intention of knocking down some of the highs. This thing cooks and is very feedback resistant, with the amp that I tested it out with. I'll finish it out one of these days. I'm a happy man!

I am working on a way to capture good audio. Not sure how much it weighs but somewhere between 20-30 lbs it what it feels like. Very easy to lift.

I tested it out with a Chicago Triple from Vintage47amps. But I will be testing out my Mission 32-20. And if I like it I might build a box for the chassis and make it a head. Other thoughts I have are to wire up the cab with three jacks and have one jack to run the 12" and the two 10", another jack to run to the two 6x9" and the third jack will run all of them. That way I could run two amps at the same time if I wanted. Could make for some interesting tones.

Each speaker has its own beam blocker in the grill.
How is is wired? How many ohms?

Kudos! That is killer! I really love mixed speaker setups. Best tone I've ever managed out of a loud amp is a 12/10/8/8 setup I put into a bassman clone. let us know how that bad boy sounds with the mission!

Nice work! I love the different designs on the baffle in front of each speaker. And I'm a big supporter of the "blended speakers" approach. Bet it sounds great. 5 speakers - how did you arrange wiring/impedance? ---------- ---------- /Greg

Thanks everyone, glad you all like it. The cut outs were a pain in the ass and took a long time. They are not perfect but I plan on finishing them off with a rasp and sand paper. Wish I had a shop to do all this. Did the cut outs in the back yard sitting on the baffle or holding it with one hand. I had it wired 2x6x9" series, 2x10" series then both of those paralleled to the 12" and it worked out to 8 ohms.

Thanks. I might make another baffle for 12", 8" and 2x10".

Hmmm. Maybe a nit - but you should be sure. Unless the speakers are different and unusual impedances - it doesn't work out. If they're all 8 ohm speakers, then your 6x9 pair is 16 ohms, your 10" pair is 16 ohms, those are in parallel for 8 ohms, in parallel with the 12. If the 12 is 8 ohms then you've got a 4 ohm box. If you've got a 16 ohm 12 then you have 5.3 ohms... ??

Thanks, Jay, glad you like it.
I know Greg, I does seem odd to me that it worked out to 8 (actual reading 7 ohms). It should work out to 4.571428... (blah, blah). The 6x9" are 16 ohms, 2x10" are 8 ohms and the 12" is 8 ohms. But either way it's fine to run this off a 4 or 8 ohm tap.
