This thread is for posting an "original lick" of yours that you feel is pretty cool...Please try to keep the lick a reasonable length...

STME58, is this all 1 layer of harp? At times, it feels like 2 harps playing at the same time.
Cool idea for a thread, Frank. Put these all together and make a song! haha

That's one layer played into a little plastic mic plugged into my cheap PC.
It is a Low F Suzuki Pure harp and it is in tune well enough and I am playing softly enough that I believe the reeds an octave below the ones I am playing are ringing along.
I just got the harp yesterday from Rockin' Ron. At first the extra reeds ringing kind of bothered me, in fact, I was looking around trying to find where the extra sounds were coming from, did my son leave a game running? As I get it under control though, I like it.

I wouldn't say there are any particularly original riffs left to be played in blues, but here's a few I use which I don't hear many (if any) people use. Probably because these riffs sound totally crap though! hahaha! Sorry for the recording quality, I think my laptop built in mic is playing up a bit.

That's the ticket - showcasing the licks you feel are original in a way that will kinda perk up the ears of the listener :)

Fun idea.
The clips sound more like a "groove approach" than what might be considered a riff.... ---------- The Iceman
