I'm getting ready to drive 86 miles to demo this amp. Please tell me what you think of it, and particular how loud it is. Thank you.

You will love the amp. It is loud for a 6-watt amp, especially if you upgrade the speaker to a more efficient (and better sounding) Eminence Lil Buddy.
But.... it is not loud enough for gigging in a normal bar band. You won't be able to hear yourself when things get loud.
Still, the amp is wonderful for practice, rehearsals, and smaller shows. I think every harp player should own a small ~5-watt tube amp.
I am eager to hear your thoughts after trying the amp.

I was going to ask about the speaker...thanks for the info. I have the amp on order right now and will be doing the alnico mod to it.
