Anyone try one? In all the shure hi-z stick mic discussions I never see the 580 mentioned, is there a good reason why?

Do you mean a 585sa? I have one and it rocks very nicely with my Silvertone 1482.

Not the 585. The 580 looks more like the 515. I saw a couple on Ebay and was curious as I never here them mentioned.
