Steve and Jim are long time best friends and band mates- though their styles are so different,I find that interesting...Years ago I was given a live cassette of Milwaukee's best harpsters and Steve was featured, he does a great rendition of LW roller coaster on it and some very tasty back up work too - he tears it up here and check out Mr.Libans circular breathing show stopper at 2:16.

Thank you Frank! Both are my favourite! Jim is very often guest on Steve's albums also. Do you remember the name of this album of Milwaukee's best harpists? Steve's recorded all harmonica for Hal Leonard's "Little Walter" book so he is very familiar with this material.

Really enjoyed that Frank.
There were parts that reminded me of Lazy by Deep Purple.
Same kinda groove I thought.

Your welcome...No, I can't find it, I must of lent it out - every song on it was kick ass...The singer on the cassette was awesome too. Someone from harp-l I believe sent it to me in the mail around 15 years ago and I think the cassette was homemade. ...Maybe put up a request for it on harp-l?

All Steve Cohens harmonica books are in the library system in here in Pittsburgh :) Super cool teaching aids...You can also find some nice "play alongs" at the library if you do a "search" of their catalogs...

Once those guitarists get to solo it's difficult to stop them :)
cheers, Mark.
