Great jam at Ziggies last night! In this video Gregg MacKenzie and Nic Clark are playing the Mission Delta Sonic amp. Gregg was using some slap-back delay and Nic was playing dry. Both of them are using my Shure 440SL mic.
The amp sounded great and did well. It was on for about 5 hours straight and was played by six different players. I had it lined out to the PA with just a wee bit going to the mains. I played the first set with the amp and got it dialed in. At first I had too much in the PA.
The blues jam was packed. The most common comments about the amp were "Loud!" and "Crunch!" What I liked was the 24-pound weight of the amp. It was the easiest load in/out I've had in a long time.
