He is proof that finding the holy grail amp is a waste of time. It simply isn't needed. Just listen to him play through the PA. It is all about player tone and chops. (I am guilty of the amp deely but it certainly has not help my playing) Last week I played at Joes Bar in Boulder Creek, CA as a solo act and played through the PA and received many compliments on my sound and playing. Still the amps are not for sale but anyway there you go.
