Greg Heumann at www.blowsmeaway.com would be the best man to talk too. Before you rush into getting it chromed though, ask Greg about nickel plated shells. Trust me you really want to see those. They are way, way better than the chrome finish on a bullet mic!

Awesome will do I had no idea he did that stuff. My friend in knoxville brought over a super rare model 278 with black label all chrome and he didnt know what he had. Ofcourse I had to tell him because it was a special mic. But it looks so damn cool. And 278's and chrome 520 are like $600 which I cannot afford.
Thanks I will email him now

Johnny Ace can get mics chromed, look him up on Facebook. Don't think he posts here. There are a few chrome shops that specialize in chroming pot metal. They will do nickle also. They mainly do old car parts. Search Google. Chuck at www.fatbottom-mics.com is another source. Last time a talked to him he was looking for a new chrome shop but that was a long time ago. He wouldn't settle for anything less than the best. He is taking a leave right now according to his website. I agree that nickel would look better than chrome.
