Hi everybody,
I need some infos about the Kinder Anti-feedback.
Let me know what do you think about it and if it's easy to use and if it's worth the price.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, it is easy to use and yes it is worth the price IF you are using it in the right context.
Manual doesn't give much info. It's just about taking some time to figure out the settings for your mic. You set up the mic not the amp. Having said that, minor tweaking is often necessary from amp to amp or even gig to gig. Just use your ears. It always goes first in the chain if you use effects.
To get a bit more out of low wattage amps before feedback, it's pretty good but you're not going to get a huge increase in volume.
To tame feedback out of high wattage harp unfriendly amps it's very good. Especially useful in situations where you have to use whatever amp is given to you.
If you have a harp specific amp, Sonny Jr, Meteor, HG, etc., it is, or should be, unnecessary.
It will affect tone but not necessarily in a bad way. Seems to add a bit of grit to one degree or another. Matter of taste. ---------- LSC

I agree with the two posts above for the most part. The only thing I would add is that, while I used mine for a few years (even w/harp-specific amps) I have recently stopped using it with my SJ Cruncher, which has been my go to amp. Why? Because I got a Lone Wolf Octave Pedal. I got the Octave pedal because I liked the sound of it in the samples on the web (and like it in use). As a side benefit, it has some feedback reduction that is quite enough when used with my Cruncher in my typical gig situation. So I have not had the AFB+ in the chain much lately. If I happen to be using a non harp-specific amp, I still have the AFB+ in the chain (usually along with the LW Tone+). I can't really speak to the Octave pedal's effectiveness in reducung feedback with more feedback prone amps -- I haven't really tested it well in that way -- it definitely does not have the same amont of FB control as the AFB+, but as I said it can be "enough" depending on the amp and situation. I think even using a harp-specific amp, some FB control is helpful if you find yourself pushing the amp to its feedback level.
Added: For the AFB+, I like to keep the left and right knobs as far counter clockwise as possible to do the trick. For me that usually means left knob around 9 o'clock and right knob around noon. While the middle knob is supposed to be set to where the blue light flickers when you hit a loud note, it can also be set further counter clockwise (the light does not come on) -- this seems to reduce the added "grit" if you prefer that.

TetonJohn, I'm gonna lie and say what you say ain't right and there's no way that otocave thing, or whatever it's called, really does that so don't nobody really need to try it.

TetonJohn is exactly right: "For the AFB+, I like to keep the left and right knobs as far counter clockwise as possible to do the trick. For me that usually means left knob around 9 o'clock and right knob around noon."
That is how I use it, too. It will vary with the mic you are using and the room you are playing, but this is a good place to start.
The Kinder AFB+ will get you about two or two and a half notches higher on the volume of a Bassman. That is a lot of volume. It may add some grit, depending on your settings.
It is worth every cent.

Hey Rick LB, I see you will soon have a Minimeat; just FYI, I do use my AFB+ with mine -- of course it depends on the venue, who else you are playing with and (mostly) how loud they are playing. Enjoy!
(You know, I had been thinking of contacting you regarding selling my minimeat, but have been busy and didn't get around to taking any photos which i fugured you would want to see -- glad it worked out for you anyway -- and it's not like I'm anxious to sell mine -- happy to keep it in the mix.)
