Coming up tonight at Ziggies - the Mile High Blues Society Jam featuring Bad Brad Stivers rippin' it up on guitar. Curtis Hawkins will be sitting in on bass, with Bruce Collins on drums, Rick Davis on harp, and YOU bustin' out your best blues chops. Bring yer axe n Let's Boogie!
For nearly four decades the Sunday Jams at Ziggies have been the heart of Denver's blues scene. All blues players are welcome! Working pros come to try out new chops and hook up with friends. New players come to pick up riffs, style, and attitude. Lot's of blues fans come for the great music and to be part of the the blues brotherhood.
Doors at 6pm, music at 7pm. Come early to get signed up. We provide the backline (drum kit, bass amp, guitar amp, etc) and you provide the badass boogie.
Plus, we will have a new small harp amp from Mission Amps on hand for all harp players to try: Tweed, 10-inch speaker, 15 watts from two 6V6 power tubes, great tone.
Ziggies is on 38th Avenue just east of Sheridan Blvd. It is Colorado's oldest and coolest blues club. This Sunday Blues jam has been goin' on for 40 years. Come down and be a part of it!

It weighs in at 24 lbs.

I got some good video of Nic Clark playing the amp. It still needs some small tweaks. I am eager to hear what you guys think. I'll have the video up in the morning.
