Just bought a new mic and I like it. Tone is similiar to SM57 (fat bass), but with less muddiness and more prominent highs. Really something like mix of better things from Fireball and SM57. Not a vintage tone like bullets or RE10 (my next mic dream!), but very universal modern mic with hypercardioid pattern.
Here's a demo.
custom Seydel 1847 in G -> Electrovoice N/D 967 -> AKG Transformer Wireless -> Line6 POD HD (Noise Gate, Analog delay, plus rotary and octaves for comping) ->BBE Sonic Stomp -> Fender Princeton RI + Danelectro HoneyTone.

Far out! you have that many things for tone and effect or whatever, i'll have a listen and probably drool everywhere.
.........just lisened, always a good feel and the expert in music comes out loud and clear, i get a similar or same recording with my jt30 thru my pc. Kool playing tho.

Great mic, it's my favorite choice for clean, fat and smooth sound. It has great resistance for feedback (better than Shure SM57 or SM58).
Perfect for my taste and my style of music!

That sounds very RE10-ish to me with that rig. It is very snappy, which is a great thing. Sounds wonderful. That is quite the rig you got going there!

In general I like 3 overdriven tones mostly but I wish some adjustments
1) Carlos del Junco, but a bit too vintage for my taste. I wish a bit more open tone.
2) Jason Ricci, but a bit overcompressed for my taste and a bit muddy in a bottom mids.
3) Mark Ford, but I wish more bass.
So this is can help to understand what tone I'm looking for. Anyway RE-10 is greater for timbre dynamics (open/close), this effect is not such noticeable as on RE10.

I have had this mic for several months, as a vocal mic! It never dawned on me to try blowin' harp through it until I saw this thread. I'm very pleased & impressed, although it's heavier than what I'm used to.
The grill diameter makes a very cozy cup... in fact comparing to Greg's bulletizer they're nearly the same size! This would make a very nice stick style harp mic in my opinion. It's got nice bottom end and it's punchy at the same time.

Thanks, Brendan. It's still Richter harmonica. After some experiments with PowerChromatic I still not completely happy with my control of note choice especially in the key other than draw minor and also I undesrtand that I need at least one spare and possible more keys to use a new tuning live. I already spent too much money on harps. I wish to spent money on something else (guitar, Android phone, monitor speakers, cusom amp). So to be honest, pitty but for today I gave up practicing PowerChromatic (anyway great tuning!).

Yeah! I also wondered that my POD HD actually don't ruin my tone when I use it for effets only and I even like it.
