Ok so I installed a screw on connector to a friends new green bullet. It has a volume control. There are three wires I clipped when I took the hardwired cable out. two come straight from element which is ground and lead that go to the screw on connector. And there is this third wire that comes from the volume pot. where does it go? When I connect it to either ground or lead of the connector to the element it works but the mic seems to be lower in output. Is there somwhere I should put it to bring it back to normal
