I noticed a fairly unusual amp cabinet yesterday that may be of interest to other harp players. It is a Gibson Super Goldtone Cabinet 2x10 open (top half) Celestion Vintage 10s, and 2x12 closed (bottom half) of two Celestion Vintage 3Os. Jim Rosen originally suggested I mix sizes and types of speakers, and I've been happy with that approach.
These were manufactured in the UK by Trace Elliott in the late 1990s until about 2001(?). There weren't any bids on it when I first saw it, but I see there is one bid now.
I have have a Gibson Super Goldtone, and although I don't play anywhere big enough to really "need" it, this cabinet is very cool for a couple of reasons. It can be used either as a 16 ohm mono cabinet (or 4 ohm mono) with all four speakers, or to drive each left / right pair of 10"/12" speakers with a different 8 ohm input. I use it with the various amplifier and PA heads I have, and can use a different line in to each channel's pair of speakers.
In theory, you could also do a speaker swap on one side, say, with a vintage Alnico 10 or 12 to further differentiate the outputs. I originally had planned to do this, but have not done so yet, as I like the tone I'm getting now just fine.
Anyway, I love mine, have not seen one exactly like it in the two years since I bought mine, and figured maybe someone here might dig it. It is a heavy cabinet, but I have wheeled casters on mine. It looks identical to this one in every other way:

Sometimes those ceramic speakers can be kind of tight. I bought a killer 4X8, 1X12 Celestion Mesa cab last year, probably a great bass cab, didn't do anything for me with harp.

Nice. A separate 410 cab is an asset no doubt. ----------
