I'll post a picture if this doesn't make much sense but I'm replacing a MB with a Hetrick comb and the rivets on the back side of the reed plate are really inconsistent with various burrs. I guess they dig into a wood comb and the leakage issue wasn't as pronounced but it's hopeless with a solid comb.
I ask because as much as I've reviewed technique I don't recall this issue being raised before (I'm sure it has).
Any advice? I'm just putting a file to them for for now.
