I'm not sure if you've noticed this already but I've seen quite a few LW pedals on for sale page with a pretty good deal including the harp break. I know you're looking for one. Have you got it yet? I'm just curious to know how the harp break and the harp attack compare to each other.

I'm kicking myself for not checking the for sale page before ordering the harp break. The pedal should arrives anytime now.

Oops, beat him to it. Thanks.
Just kidding. The deal with a delay sounds good but I only need the break. Times up for me, calling Louisiana today.

Puri - Thank you for thinking of me. I managed to acquire a Harp Attack a couple of weeks ago for a very good price. I haven't tried a Harp Break as I can't afford to get one yet. The Harp Attack though is great and sounds pretty close to a good valve amp. I set the volume at 12 O'clock and have the tone and drive set around 8 O'clock, as I like a pretty clean sound which overdrives when I play a little harder. So far the Harp Attack is working very well for me. If the Harp Break is better than the Harp Attack, which many people seem to think. Then it will be a superb pedal. I'm sure you'l love it.

Kingley, what sort of amp are you using the Harp Attack with? I just received one from LW. I will try it with a Roland Cube Street. I'm also thinking I could use it on my Bassman to get an overdriven sound at lower volumes.

@Kingley, yeah, I know you've got the attack but thought that you also still want the harp break. I actually think that most people prefer the harp attack, well, from most comments that I've read so far. I sort of think that I'm in a minority that prefer the trebly, honky and the glassy break up sound over the musculine bassy type of sound that lots people tend to like. That's why I thought I'd go with the harp break. I'm just curious now while I'm waiting for the harp break to come, what am I missing for not getting the harp attack? That's all:)

Puri - I'd love to own a Harp Break as well. Just can't afford one at the moment though. From what I've read the pedals can be set to sound pretty close to each other. The Harp Break has the added bonus of the bass boost, which many people seem to prefer. Like you, I prefer the trebly, honky, glassy break up over the bassy masculine sound too.

FMWoodeye - I'm using it direct into the PA. Many people have used them directly into amps though and say they sound great.
