That would makes a good Blues Song someone!
OK, So I have grown tired of working on pre owned harmonicas, for many reasons. Any customizer/optimizer out there knows the reasons. The problem is that I have a couple of hundred of them, and I have too much time in them to just throw or give them away If I continue customizing them, it will take me a few years to get through them all.
So I am going to just take them apart, one at a time, clean the plates with Barkeepers friend, replace any broken reeds, set the gaps, and check and adjust tuning where necessary. I then clean and lightly sand the mounting surfaces of the comb. Then I seal them once with a mixture of Mineral Oil, Carnumb Wax, and Bees Wax. I heat it up till hot, brush it all over the comb, and set it aside to dry. I have been using this for a couple of years to clean my wooden comb harps, and have done a few with just this product, and they work fine. No swelling.
Then I polish the cover plates, open the backs, like the Crossovers, test them, and put them together.
I am starting with Marine Bands. These are all MBs with date stamps, made from 1996 until the present. Basiclef3y what you get is equivilent to a good OTB Marine Band Deluxe.
Since I need to sell from the For Sale Page, I will finish this there, so Go To The For Sale Page Please.
