At practice last week the band leader suggested I try out his Sennheiser 606 instead of hooking up my amp. We're playing electric but I thought I would give it a go anyway.
Man, I really like the mellow tone I can get out of that mic. Obviously it's not designed for cupping, but as an overall mic for many situations, I like it a lot.
Anyone else used one?
