Ain't it the truth, Todd. I always prefer Crosby, Stills, Nash, & Young or the Beach Boys studio version on any of their material. Lots of others that just really sound bad without the "studio makeup."

When I first set out to be a recording studio engineer, I remember being at a mix session at the college. The singer ended the song with a bad note. The engineer rewound, pressed play, and reached over and dialed in the note with a harmonizer. I was so impressed.
