Sounds pretty cool - which amp and speaker? What are you shooting the video with ? - an iphone? It'd be nice to to have better audio quality on it. ----------
Yeow!. I really enjoyed this, Frank. You've got a perfect raspy back alley growl coming out of that amp and I like the way you hunker down on the low and middle range notes. The bends are solid like a punch from a boxer skilled at inside combinations and your rhythm positively rocks; you're in the groove, you're on top of it, you're showing it the way. Nice work indeed. ---------- Ted Burke http://youtube.com/watch?v=-VPUDjK-ibQ&feature=relmfu
Thank you brothers in arms...I figured a few of you crazy mothers might like that crunch and munch:)...I tried to use a lot of techniques to make it as nasty and ratty sounding as possible and that old tube amp with the attached old speaker really ate those note combinations up and shred the shit out of em...
Bdog, its the little black amp with the CO OP sign on it and the speaker is beside it. So your hearing the 8 in speaker in the amp and the 10 in speaker that's attached to the amp via a 1/4 in guitar jack... Though it is not attached to an instrument input jack but a separate jack input that is apart of the amps speaker wiring. I had a buddy of mine do it for me.
The video was taken with a camcorder I recently got off of Craigs List...So your hearing the built in mic on the camcorder and your right it's lacking the guilty of a good mic. It does have a mic input but I'll need to get an 'impedance transformer' xlr female to 1/8 TRS male and then I can connect a 57 or 58 to the camcorder for a much better recording sound.
Thanks again for braving the sinful stench filled sounds of the centipede saloon :)
