Thought I'd open up a new thread for this, rather than one of the old cans of worms. I just received a Bushman Delta Frost from Rockin' Ron, with his usual alacrity. My intent was to use it as a reserve backup to my A Manji. Pretty nice harp! OBs right out of the box, which I really wasn't expecting.
Anyway, the question is this: should I open up the back?

I wouldn't - I find them plenty loud just as they are. But having said that, we do like to tinker!! ;-) ---------- If it ain't got harp - it ain't really blues!!!!

Since it's a reserve or practice harp, there's no real reason to do so.....UNLESS ya just wanna see what will happen.

Whether you use it as a practice harp or as a main line harp, I don't think opening up the backs will hurt. I don't think you will notice that much difference either, though. So you decide if it's worth it.
They seem to be a really great out-of-the-box harp. They come gapped for medium-hard to hard breath force. If you have a different preference, then all you really need to do to them is gap them.

"Since it's a reserve or practice harp..." ...ABSOLUTELY!!! What better harp to experiment on?
And since we all love pictures/videos/music clips, let's get some before & after documentation!
