If you want to enhance your tongue-blocking prowess, Lee Sankey is probably one of the best teachers on YouTube. Always well explained and well demonstrated. Here’s his two latest vids launching a new series on the Big Walter style.

Great stuff! Lee does great lessons on YouTube. His teaching style is very good and of course he's a very good player. His tone is superb.

As a purser I'm slowly getting round to TB'ing and will start watching these videos again from No.1.

I watched these two very carefully though and I wonder if anyone else has noticed something that really tickles me. I'm not taking the p*ss, I love Lee's videos but man is he hooked on the harp. Take another look and watch out for this on video 19 at 1:47 2:38 and 4:22 and video 20 at 0:13, 0:32, 0:55, 2:03, 6:37 and 8:25. Am I imagining things or does Lee have a slight problem? :)

If you read this Lee, it's only meant as a little fun.

@tooka - yeah I noticed that too. I likened it to watching a chef, before he starts preparing to chop, he will take his chefs knife and do a couple of chops on the cutting board before getting to work. Similar to a batter in baseball, tapping the inside and outside edges of home plate to get "centered"

...or something like that.

Lee is awesome, my playing is at least 30% if not more TB, thanks to Lee. After these 2 vids I am hoping to take tb to the next level.

Go ahead and play the blues if it'll make you happy.
